St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program

The Citizenship-by-Investment Program of St. Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis was introduced in 1984 allowing foreign investors to acquire citizenship under certain conditions. This makes it the longest and most reputable citizenship program in existence.

Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF) option

The SIDF is a charitable organisation that was established in 2006 to assist the Government in accelerating the transformation from a sugar-based economy to a modern, stuff service-oriented economy; stimulating economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for the people of St. Kitts & Nevis. To qualify for citizenship of St. Kitts and Nevis under the SIDF Option, more about the Government requires a contribution to the St. Kitts and Nevis Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation. The minimum Contributions to the SIDF to qualify persons to apply to Citizenship by Investment are as follows:-

  • Single applicant US$ 250,000
  • Applicant with up to three dependents (i.e. one spouse and two children below the age of 18) US$ 300,000
  • Applicant with up to five dependents (i.e. one spouse and four children) US$ 350,000
  • Applicant with up to seven dependents (i.e. one spouse and six children) US$ 450,000
  • Additional contribution for each dependent above seven dependents US$ 50,000

Real Estate Option

To qualify for citizenship of St. Kitts and Nevis under the real-estate option of its Citizenship-by-Investment Program, the Government requires an investment in designated real estate with a value of at least US$ 400,000 for each main applicant and maintain it for 5 years. Two or more applicants may apply for citizenship by investment together by purchasing one piece of real estate provided that each main applicant contributes the minimum investment of US$ 400,000 towards the investment. The applicant must also pay Government fees of:

  • US$ 50,047 for the main applicant
  • US$ 25,047 for the spouse of the main applicant
  • US$ 25,047 for each child of the main applicant under eighteen years of age
  • US$ 50,047 for each qualified dependent of the main applicant above the age of eighteen years, other than his or her spouse

The two investment options are subject to other government processing and due diligence fees.
